I'm Augusto, and I'm building my life in public on the internet.
I work as a mid-level software developer; in my free time I like to write, build apps (even more now with how fast AI lets me ship), run, record videos, worship Christ, watch films and series — and whatever else pops into my head.
My main goal with what I post on YouTube, Instagram, and Substack is to help people become better in some way — not by handing out ready-made formulas, but by sharing my experiences so you can look at your own context and see what you can adapt to your life and career.
I can't stand sameness. I'm always chasing change; it's a burden I carry and I honestly don't know if that's good or bad, but I couldn't look in the mirror and be the same person as yesterday. As Heraclitus put it:
No one steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and they are not the same person.
And Confucius added:
It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
